The 97th session of the Human Rights Committee took place from 2 to 30 October 2009 in Geneva. It reviewed State reports from Switzerland, Republic of Moldova, Croatia, Russian Federation and Ecuador. The country task force looked at reports related to Cameroon, El Salvador, Estonia and Israel.
Except Russian Federation report, all States reports reviewed in this session include references to persons with disabilities and three out of the five concluding observations (from Switzerland, Croatia and Russian Federation) adopted by the Committee during its 97th session also include references to disability.
