DAI commits to champion the rights of women and girls affected by dementia as some of the most-under represented and marginalised persons with disabilities due to the combination of gender, condition and often age.
Timeframe and/or implementation plan
DAI will help advocate for a gendered approach to global action on dementia, including in research, and to support those already involved in dementia policy and practice to get it right for every woman living with or affected by dementia around the world, so that no one is left behind in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
