Human Rights First Rwanda Association believes working with other partners to realize tangible goals it against this backdrop that we have partnered with Faculty of law INILAK University  where students teach law, human rights and provide legal advice to the communities in a simple and friendly way under a minimum supervision of lecturers and legal officers. Our programsl mix learning with social impact and hence cross-fertilize each other.

The organization has been involved in a number of change oriented activities which include among other things training  over 23 organizations of mainly women who are HIV positive as a result of sexual violence during the genocide on various laws that protect them and Human rights issues in partnership with Women to Access to Care and Treatment (WE Act).  As a result it assisted in the formation of the first network of people living with HIV/AIDS that fights discrimination. Representation and empowerment of persons with disabilities

Through the continued provision of free legal aid services. As well as raising awareness in the community to change community mind-set and thus reduce and finally eliminate stigma and discrimination against PWDs. As an organisation that promotes the rights of people with disabilities, we commit to empowering them in the area of access to justice.

Timeframe and/or implementation plan 
Provision of Daily legal aid and carry out monthly community outreach campaigns to educate the community members on the rights of PWDs.

Human Rights and disability rights Education for women and girls with disabilities and formation of mentoring networks to enable them to grow and empower each other. Capacity building for women with disability organisations to increase awareness of their rights and empowerment as well as promote collaboration for effective promotion, protection and advocacy.
