IDA Action Plan
IDA Objectives:
- To promote the rights of persons with disabilities in accordance with the CRPD in the UN system and with other global stakeholders;
- To work in cooperation with IDA members to increase the knowledge and capacity among IDA members and national DPOs on the implementation of the CRPD and the effective use of the UN system to support regional and national advocacy efforts;
- To position IDA as the united and representative voice of the disability community on common concerns at the global level;
- To establish alliances with other stakeholders committed to the implementation of the CRPD, while ensuring the IDA leadership;
- To ensure that all IDA decisions are taken by IDA members collectively and are effectively implemented.
