Inter Agency Support Group to the CRPD

At its 12th session in September 2006, the United Nations Chief Executives Board (CEB) took the decision to establish an Inter-Agency Support Group (IASG) for the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The IASG brings together UN specialized agencies, funds and programs. The IASG holds an annual meeting hosted by one of its members.

Since 2009, IDA attends part of its meetings and has contributed to the drafting of its strategy and action plan and the guidance note to UN country teams on how to mainstream the rights of persons with disabilities in their work.
