This report was prepared as a document to strengthen and update the information included in the Alternative Report on Honduras prepared in June 2015 by civil society organizations (organizations by and for disabled persons), corroborating non-compliance by the Honduran government with the rights of disabled persons.

The contents of this report reflect some of the problems which deter the full enjoyment of their rights by disabled persons.

It is worth noting that the analysis made of compliance with these rights has been in a counter position with what the government of Honduras presented in its initial report to the United Nations Organization Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. For every right, civil society organizations include a series of suggested questions that should be made to the government Honduras.
