IDA held a seminar on Disability Rights Monitoring to the CRPD Committee and other human rights treaty bodies in Geneva on January 7 and 8 2010.

This seminar is part of a process that will lead to the production of a guidance document targeting national disability NGOs. Beyond disability rights monitoring in the UN treaty bodies, the seminar will also look at how to use the Universal Periodic Review, the Special Procedures as well as the individual communications procedure foreseen in the Optional Protocol to the CRPD.
