We held a new virtual General Assembly (GA) to continue advancing the implementation of the newly adopted Articles of Association. This meeting marks an important milestone for IDA, as it is the first time the GA has convened under the new provisions, most notably, requiring each IDA member to be represented by two persons. This new composition has led to greater gender balance, stronger representation from the Global South, and the inclusion of underrepresented groups, such as persons with intellectual disabilities.
