CBM commits to continue supporting Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) to foster cooperation, exchange and knowledge among DPOs, humanitarian actors and local stakeholders to practice and promote inclusive humanitarian assistance. To meet this commitment, CBM is working with International Disability Alliance, Humanity and Inclusion and the BRIDGE CRPD SDGs initiative to develop a specific training on Article 11 of CRPD.
Timeframe and/or implementation plan
By 2023, CBM in alliance with IDA and HI will have a well-established curriculum and lead trainers group drawn from DPOs and humanitarian expert allies, able to effectively build capacity to promote delivery of the Charter on Inclusion of Persons with Disability in Humanitarian Action.
