Representation and empowerment of persons with disabilities
In order to increase representation of persons with disabilities in humanitarian action, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies commits to partnering with organisations of persons with disabilities to build capacity of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and organisations of persons with disabilities on inclusive humanitarian action. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies supports the inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities through its partnership with Special Olympics.

Timeframe and/or implementation plan 
Building of collaboration between the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, its member National Societies and organisations of persons with disabilities in programming, awareness raising and training. First aid training with Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and Special Olympics on inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities as volunteers in first aid programming.
