Capacity building: teachers and staff
Cambridge Education provides services including advice, support, programme design, and delivery for education in many countries across the globe. Our organisation delivers client-responsive solutions. We regularly work with DFID and other donors on their programmes.

Where a client requests, we will provide special needs and sensitisation training for teachers. We are committed to working with our clients to achieve results for inclusive education including influencing policy and practice.

Mott MacDonald has an excellent economic development and skills team, focusing on inclusive growth and delivering large-scale skills training programmes in various countries. Our teams are committed to designing skills programmes that are inclusive of all people, regardless of their background, race, ability, ethnicity, religion etc. We will work with our clients and partners to ensure that we deliver economic development programmes that are inclusive, supporting marginalised groups to access jobs and improved working conditions.

A lot of work has been done to improve opportunities for women and girls. Our organisation will continue to provide high-quality advisory services, programme design and programme implementation to clients who are working to achieve progress for girls and women worldwide. As part of these services, we are committed to promote access to education, skills and economic opportunities for women and girls with disabilities.

Timeframe and/or implementation plan: We are currently implementing multiple large-scale education, economic development and skills programmes where the needs of girls and women are prioritised. We will continue to asses these and any future programmes for inclusion. We commit to review all existing projects for opportunities to advance girls’ and women’s education and economic development, with a specific focus on empowering women and girls with disabilities, and we will build these themes into upcoming bids where relevant.
