National Federation of the Disabled Nepal (NFDN) is legally registered nongovernmental organization (NGO) under the institutional enrollment act of Nepal. It is the national umbrella body of persons with disabilities, represents more than three hundreds member organizations working for promoting the rights of disabled people throughout the country.

Representation and empowerment of persons with disabilities

The organization has strong commitment to strengthen the capacity of persons with disabilities for claiming their rights,  reduce different forms of discriminations on the basis of disabilities rooted in the community, include persons with disabilities in decision making process, Promote accessibility, ensure their access to justice and basic services in an equal basis. The organizations who are supporting for its organizational development are DPOD-Denmarks, FFO-Norway and Nepal Government, cbm and Myrights.
