Azerbaijan signed the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on 30 March 2007 and ratified it on 26 September 2008

Azerbaijan signed the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on 08 September 2000 and ratified it on 03 July 2002

 Azerbaijan has signed and ratified:

• Optional Protocol of the Convention against Torture
• Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict
• Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children child prostitution and child pornography

Azerbaijan has ratified, but not signed:

• Convention against Torture and Other Cruel Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment
• International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights
• Second Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights aiming to the abolition of the death penalty
• Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women
• International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination
• International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
• International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families
• Convention on the Rights of the Child
