The eleventh session of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) took place from 2 -13 May 2011.

IDA prepared a number of suggested recommendations to be made by States and thanks to this work, during this session, more than one hundred recommendations on persons with disabilities were made. In particular, a number of countries indicated that they would consider ratifying the CRPD.
