The 97th session of the Human Rights Committee took place from 12 to 30 October 2009 in Geneva.

Except Russian Federation report, all States reports reviewed in this session included references to persons with disabilities and three out of the five concluding observations (from Switzerland, Croatia and Russian Federation) adopted by the Committee during its 97th session also include references to disability.
