The São Paulo State Secretariat for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (SEDPcD) and the Center of Technology and Innovation (CTI) of the Sao Paulo State, in partnership with the Permanent Mission of Brazil at the United Nations will hold the second edition of the Award Global Recognition "Good Practices for Employees with Disabilities", in New York, at the UN headquarters, on December 3, 2018, during the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The selected companies to this second edition of the Award present at the Awards Ceremony in New York, will not only have international recognition through several channels of dissemination, but also their experiences will make part of a digital publication and an USB flash drive with videos of the finalist practices of this initiative, in Spanish, English and Portuguese, which will be elaborated by the Sao Paulo State Secretariat for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Center for Technology and Innovation of the Sao Paulo State Government.

After the event, the best practices awarded and part of both the digital book and the USB flash drive will be available on the website: www.pessoacomdeficiencia.sp.gov.br, in addition to the website of partner institutions that participate in this international initiative.

To compete for the award, the participants must register online from June 28th until September 21st, 2018, and complete the questionnaires by 30 September 2018. To register, please click here.

The award ceremony will be held on December 3rd, 2018 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 1st Avenue between 42nd and 48th Streets.
