It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that International Disability Alliance mourns the loss of Jolijn Santegoeds, who worked passionately and tirelessly throughout her life to support the disability movement. Jolijn will be remembered as a kind and committed person fighting tenaciously for rights of the persons with disabilities as EDF board member, representative of the European Network of (ex) Users and Survivors of Psychiatry (ENUSP) and co-chair of the World Network of UIDAsers and Survivors of Psychiatry. Joljin’s authentic interest in people touched the lives of many. Keeping the dear memory of her alive means continuing her quest for a more righteous world for the people with psychosocial disabilities.
