DAI commits to advocate for implementation of the WHO Global Action Plan on the Public Health Response to Dementia 2017–2025  target  that ‘50% of countries routinely collect a core set of dementia indicators through their national health and social information systems on which they report every two years by 2025’ (disaggregated by sex and age).

Timeframe and/or implementation plan 
The WHO Global Action Plan on the Public Health Response to Dementia sets targets from 2017–2025. DAI is working with governments and other organisations to ensure human rights are implemented within local, regional and national dementia plans and strategies, which are aligned to the Global Action Plan.
