New programmes or services
Consistent with the CRPD, SDG11, and the New Urban Agenda, support digital inclusion and accessibility in urban environments and cities by developing inclusive city tools and promoting inclusive Smart Cities strategies to ensure that digital services and smart city solutions are made accessible to Persons with Disabilities and promote innovation in digital services and assistive solutions for independent living in urban areas.

Timeframe and/or implementation plan 
Develop and release in 2018-2019 two new Smart Cities for All tools for cities worldwide.  New tools will focus on 1) assessing and benchmarking level of city ICT accessibility and digital inclusion and 2) promoting urban innovation ecosystems that produce technology and smart city products and services that are accessible to all citizens. Reach out to and engage with at least 30 major urban areas in 10 countries by the end of 2019.

Expand the number of professionals trained and certified in Digital Accessibility by offering the following certification programs globally:

-       Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies

-       Web Accessibility Specialist

-       Accessibility in Procurement Specialist

-       Accessible Digital Document Creator

Timeframe and/or implementation plan
Reach a combined number of certified professionals of 1,000 in at least 30 countries by the end of 2018.  Reach a combined number of certified professionals of 2,500 by 2020.
