Turning rights into practical change

Inclusion becomes real where people live: in homes, schools, clinics, workplaces, transport systems, families and communities.

IDA’s Inclusive Solutions Center supports practical, OPD-led action at country and community level. It connects the CRPD with locally led solutions that improve daily life while strengthening systems, accountability and movement leadership.

The Center equips OPDs to lead and act as community connectors, rights navigators, peer supporters, accessibility monitors, data gatherers and local accountability leaders. OPDs do not need to become large service providers. They do what they are uniquely placed to do: identify barriers, connect people to support, demonstrate practical solutions, generate evidence and hold systems accountable.

Our ambition is simple: to help turn human rights into visible change in daily life, so persons with disabilities can live with dignity, autonomy, support, opportunity and belonging.
