IDA survey on the experiences of persons with disabilities adapting to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

This report presents findings from IDA’s global survey on the experiences of persons with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, based on 600 responses and with a particular focus on underrepresented groups and developing countries. It documents the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on income, employment, education, mental health, healthcare, support services and digital access, while highlighting the important role played by organisations of persons with disabilities (OPDs).The report calls for disability-inclusive recovery and emergency response, including accessible health and information services, inclusive education and employment measures, stronger social protection, and the meaningful involvement and adequate funding of OPDs.
