Status on implementation of UN Security Council resolution 2475 and recommendations for the future

This report assesses the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2475, the first Security Council resolution dedicated to the rights and protection of persons with disabilities in armed conflict. It finds that, despite some progress, implementation has remained limited, with persistent gaps in protection, inclusive peacebuilding, access to justice, meaningful participation, capacity-building and disability-disaggregated data.

The report calls for stronger action to ensure that peace and security processes systematically include persons with disabilities and their representative organisations.
