What an inclusive, equitable, quality education means to us - Report 2020
This flagship report sets out IDA’s vision for inclusive, equitable and quality education for learners with disabilities, in line with SDG 4 and Article 24 of the CRPD. It argues that inclusion can't be added onto existing education systems, but requires their transformation to enable all learners to participate and learn together with the support they need.
The report provides concrete steps for this transformation, such as policies of non-discrimination and Zero Rejection, reasonable accommodation, accessible learning environments, trained teachers, adequate support services and meaningful participation of OPDs.
