Washington Group Questions
CBM, alongside IDA and IDDC member organisations, is committed to supporting and using the Short Set of Questions developed by the Washington Group on Disability Statistics, as well as additional tools such as the module on Child Functioning developed in conjunction with UNICEF, in all development and humanitarian situations, including measuring progress towards SDG implementation, where disaggregation is feasible and appropriate, while also exploring alternative and complementary tools.
Timeframe and/or implementation plan
CBM will continue through its alliances and advocacy work to contribute to the debate and exchange of learning on the use of the WGQ. Through our programme work, we will develop effective methods for collection and use of data that can ensure that persons with disabilities are effectively counted and included across all programmes and services.
