Commit to use the Washington Group questions
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies commits to development of disaggregated data by sex, age and disability and adapting the Washington Group questions, while recognizing that achieving disaggregated data requires adequate resourcing, training and time.
Timeframe and/or implementation plan
In 2018-2019 Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies collecting sex, age and disability disaggregated data will be identified and a report on disaggregated data will be launched. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies will host a workshop to plan systematic testing of disability disaggregated data collection using the Washington Group questions. Technical support will be provided to Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to test and collect disaggregated data.
