Capacity building: teachers and staff
We will work with the British Council and the European Union to ensure that teachers for the Deaf in protect and safeguard the Deaf children in their care, reducing their risk and vulnerability to abuse.
Timeframe and/or implementation plan
By September 2019, we will have trained 360 teachers for the Deaf in Iraq who will utilise child protection methodologies to ensure Deaf children are safe and are able to access, quality, bilingual Deaf education.
