The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is committed to addressing the rights and needs of girls and women with disabilities using an intersectional protection, gender and inclusion approach.
Timeframe and/or implementation plan
In 2018 the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies will integrate protection and inclusion of girls and women with disabilities in the Minimum Standard Commitments on Protection, Gender and Inclusion in Emergencies. In the next years these Minimum Standard Commitments will be used in emergency programming to provide dignity, access, participation and safety to girls and women with disabilities.
