Towards COP28: Key Advocacy Messages to Include Persons with Disabilities
The 28th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) is happening November 30 to December 12 in Expo City, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
In order to advance inclusion of persons with disabilities in decisions and documents to be adopted in COP28, the International Disability Alliance, and the International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC) in collaboration with members and partners have drafted a document summarizing their main requests and key messages.
We encourage all allies to use this document in their climate advocacy work, and welcome any feedback and ideas for joint collaboration. For any questions or further information, please contact Elham Youssefian eyoussefian [at] ida-secretariat.org and Mary Keogh Mary.keogh [at] cbm-global.org
