I. Full-time Position

  • The International Disability Alliance, under the Reference Group on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action, will be co-implementing a three years project (September 2024 to August 2027) aimed at enhancing the capacity of the humanitarian system to provide disability-inclusive humanitarian action. This will involve strengthening disability-inclusive localization through capacity sharing between local/national Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and humanitarian actors. IDA is looking for a Technical Humanitarian Senior Officer to contribute to the implementation of this project component. II. Consultancies 

  • Every three years, the GDS mechanism culminates in a two-day conference. A gathering of stakeholders (Governments, UN and multilateral agencies, private sector, and civil society), to hold high level discussions and present commitments in the form of thematic panels, high-level presentations, and more broadly conversations around the pre-identified priorities of the Summit. The Global Disability Summit 2025 will be co-hosted by the International Disability Alliance, the government of Germany and the government of Jordan. GDS2025 will happen in Berlin, Germany, on April 2nd and 3rd, 2025. On the 1st of April 2025 we will be organizing a Civil Society Forum. To this extent, we are looking for 10 International Sign Interpreters for the days of the events.
