Benin signed the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on 08 February 2008 and ratified on 05 July 2012
Benin has signed and ratified:
- Optional Protocol of the Convention against Torture
- Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women
- International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination
- Convention on the Rights of the Child
- Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict
- Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children child prostitution and child pornography
Benin has signed but not ratified:
- Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance
- International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families
